Skybox - Blade3D
After installing the package, you will suddenly be plunged into the Grand Canyon, or at least it should appear so. What you are seeing is a cube texture on a skybox. This is very useful for adding sky, or just making your scene appear to have complexity in the distance. The skybox instance uses the Sky sample material. It specifies a Cube Map texture (texture with 6 sides). The texture used in this sample is called GrandCanyon.dds, and can be found in the samples container under CubeMaps.

You can change the cube map at any time by picking a different cube texture in the skybox properties (double click the skybox instance to open its properties).

Since a skybox doesnt use the concept of depth, its should be the first item drawn in the scene so that it does not obscure other items. To move an object up and down the tree, select the object and press Control + Up or Control + Down.

I get this error when attempting to load the package...

"Required type not found /Blade3D/Scenes/SkyboxInstance"

Perhaps the guide could be updated to show how to create a skybox manually?
